Dayara Bugyal Trek

Starting Point: Barsu
Day 1: Arrival at Barsu (2,250m)
- Arrival at Dayara Bugyal Sarai Homestay, Barsu.
- Explore the serene surroundings and enjoy the views of the Himalayas from the homestay.
- Interact with the locals and visit the nearby crystal-clear mountain stream.
- Briefing about the trek and preparations for the journey ahead.
- 📍 Overnight Stay: At Dayara Bugyal Sarai Homestay
Day 2: Barsu to Barnala Tal (2,800m) | 4 km Trek (3-4 hours)
- Start the trek from Barsu, following a trail through oak and rhododendron forests.
- Enjoy the gradual ascent and stunning views of the Himalayan peaks.
- Arrive at Barnala Tal, a serene alpine lake surrounded by meadows.
- Catch the sunset views of the Bandarpoonch and Draupadi ka Danda peaks.
- 📍 Overnight Stay: Campsite near Barnala Tal
Day 3: Barnala Tal to Dayara Bugyal (3,400m) and Back | 6 km Trek (5-6 hours)
- Early morning trek to Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful high-altitude meadows.
- Walk through expansive, rolling grasslands with panoramic views of Srikanth, Gangotri, and Black Peak.
- Explore the meadows, which are lush green in summer and a snowy wonderland in winter.
- Return to Barnala Tal by evening.
- 📍 Overnight Stay: Campsite near Barnala Tal
Day 4: Barnala Tal to Barsu | 4 km Trek (2-3 hours) | Departure
- Enjoy the morning views and fresh mountain air.
- Trek back to Barsu, retracing the scenic trail.
- Arrive at Dayara Bugyal Sarai Homestay for a relaxing meal and rest.
- Departure for Dehradun/Rishikesh.
